Media Guide WSC Planica 2023

Nordic World Ski Championships will be hosted in Planica, Slovenia from 21.02.- 05.03.2023. World Champions in Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Cross Country will be named during these 12 days in 24 medal competitions. 

Planica is an alpine valley in the north-western Slovenia, located close to the border of Italy and Austria. Slovenia will host the Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica for the first time. 

All competitions will take place at the state-of-the art Planica venue, which features the top technical facilities, jumping hills and cross-country tracks for all athletes. The opening ceremony will take place in Kranjska Gora which is a city located a few kilometers from Planica.
