We would like to welcome racers, press, guest and spectators to Alpine Junior World Championship in Hafjell 5th to 14th of March 2015.
Hafjell has a long tradition as organizer of international alpine events. Hafjell was completed for the Olympic games in 1994 and the first World Cup was held here in 1991.
Some of the slopes that were used during the games in 1994 will also be used during the Alpine Junior World Championship, but improvements have been done.
Hafjell has hosted the World Cup finals in 1996 and in 2003, and the World Cup for women in 2006. They have also hosted a number of Norwegian Championship in all disciplines.
The organizers in Hafjell will also take advantage of Kvitfjell, which is located a kilometer further north. The same weekend World Cup Downhill and Super-G will be held in Kvitfjell. Kvitfjell will also be the host for Super-G men during the Junior World Championship.
During the Youth Olympic games in 2016, Hafjell will be the host for alpine diciplines.
